DISPUTES/RECONSIDERATIONS

We support challenges to DWP, HRMC, and local council decisions. Obtaining professional testimony in support of objections and guidance on benefit overpayments, including recoverability.

For a decision regarding a new claim or an existing claim, you have the right to request a required reconsideration. This includes when you request a modification to your award from the DWP or HMRC and they say no.

You have the option to contest a decision to deny or cease receiving your benefit, as well as the amount they determine you should get.

APPEALS

In addition to communicating with the Tribunal Service, obtaining expert testimony to support appeals, preparing written submissions for appeal tribunals, and, if required, offering representation at appeal tribunals, we can offer advice on the merits of appeal tribunals. We provide guidance after an appeal, including guidance on potential Upper Tribunal appeals.
